Well, my externship is almost over and I found myself sad. The place where I worked (Remember the saturday interview, that's where I ended up working) is amazing. The people who work there are so dedicated, and I'd be tempted to stay, but it's just not the right place for me. Both I and the owner understands that, thankfully. Their focus is on the pastries and breads, where mine is more on decoration and making things look amazingly pretty as well as tasty.

Don't get me wrong, their stuff looks pretty too, but they focus on mass production and I just can't wrap my head around that. I mean, I'm not one to spend hours and hours upon a cake to decorate it, but trying to push out a million cakes in an hour (an exaggeration, of course) is just a bit much for me. I want to make sure that everything I put out has quality and isn't just as is.

But anyways, my externship ends on July 2nd, and then I'm going to a convention out in Los Angeles till the 8th. Hopefully, I'll hear back from some of the people I've contacted in reference to a job. We shall see.
